Check it out!!

So I imagine some of you are sitting there saying, umm ok it's a closet. But, what you don't know is that for the past 8 months I have been living out of a suitcase. Yes that 's right, I never bothered to get all my clothes hung up after we moved here. Why, you might ask? Well for one I think that it made me feel like I wasn't stuck here. And two the closet smelled funky! The apt was brand new when we moved in and I thought at first the smell was just from the glue they used for the floor or something. But the smell persisted, nothing would get rid of it! We tried those Febreeze sprays, yeah nothing. It was the Beast, I swear! Adam kept saying that we needed to open up the closet doors so the smell would get out of there but I didn't want the whole apt to smell too!

So while I was back in California for my sister's graduation, Adam cleaned out a space for all of my clothes in the closet and even put my shoes all lined up along the bottom shelf. A subtle message,perhaps? LOL But did I listen no, cause it still smelled!

But lately the doors have been left open more often and the smell seems to have gone away so I decided since I was doing laundry yesterday anyway I would actually hang up my clothes in there. Hence the picture. And looked they're all color-coded - not for organization's sake but because it looked prettier! LOL

And in other scrap-related news, Lyndsay Riches accepted me onto her team! Yay! She had a CT call and while I don't usually apply for those, I saw her designs and thought they were so cute that I would take a risk. Guess it paid off!
